GK & 1 added a sound story to this song based on the book “The Little Old Lady Who Was Not Afraid of Anything” by Linda Williams. I may have been having just as much fun as they were today!! 😍 #ogesmusic
G3-G5 practicing rhythm skills through a variety of stations highlighting dictation, note values, note recognition, and reading rhythms. Seeing them have fun and learn independently this week has been so much fun for me!
G1 prepping using cards w/ food pictures & erasers to show how many sounds each food word has (1 or 2) to prep for rhythm reading! Love seeing them assess themselves and one another, while working collaboratively in partners!
K is exploring voices, experiencing steady beat & building their music repertoire. So proud of them today, doing this all by themselves! #weareVPA#ogesmusic#queenqueencaroline 😍❤️
Still working on those words, but G5 was super successful during this passing game with “Al Citrón” today! So proud I almost cried! ❤️ @OGESDolphins#ogesmusic#wearevpa
One of my kids asked to share a song his grandmother taught him in his native language. The class was a perfect audience, and the child fearlessly shared a beautiful song in front of husband peers. So proud! 😍
Didn't get a single picture... BUT... our OGES chorus kiddos did an amazing job singing the National Anthem at the @FrederickKeys game last night! Thanks to our families for bringing your students and making it a huge success!
