I’m so tired, man.

I have a friend that’s set themselves up on a very self-destructive path. The people around them encourage it and only a small minority of their friends will tell them the truth.

I’m thinking to just wash my hands of this and be done with it.

I will continue to daven for them. But I can’t hold their hand anymore. They’re going to have to learn this lesson the hard way.

I said a while ago that some people you need to let step on a rake.

I can daven for them and hope that Hashem sets everything straight, but I need to let them experience what they’re setting themselves up for.

I deeply care for this person, but they’re avoidant. So far, all my worst predictions have come true.
