A lot of our predictions might seem wildly out of place compared to the stated polls...but that's because 2020 had a lot of incorrect polling.
We factor in the 2020 bias (whether it's +Dem or +Rep) for each state to give you the adjusted poll with that bias baked in.
@WSJ I'm guessing your standards are just 100% unrealistic; no man exists in this reality that can meet all of them.
And you know what that means? It means your standards are too high and you should change them
@ZohranKMamdani I love the fact that a non-Establishment candidate is potentially winning. But this guy is so fake, it's not even funny. I mean just mute the sound and pretend he's a used car salesman while watching the video
@teodorio Because many modern tech bros have horrible taste and don't care about art. And they're all autistic so they don't really care about status either
@Tesla You guys should sell add-ons for the safety mechanisms (cameras + AI) for ALL existing (and new) cars. Should be mandated for cars to prevent traffic injury/death
It's a combination of a few things:
1 Women having more financial power makes it so they don't NEED a man to survive. That wasn't the case even 50-60 years ago.
2 Rise in autism makes mating difficult for autistic men and women. Mildly autistic last 50-70 years could find a mate, but more than that (their kids) becomes difficult.
3 Higher expenses for housing and education means couple choose to be together and not have kids
4 People ARE having kids, 2-3 kids; but very few people are having > 3 kids anymore (Mormons, Muslims, Orthodox Jews, SOME Catholics), and there are LOTS more people having 0 kids. On average this lowers TFR
5 Small % but gay marriage means gay men don't have to marry women any more (though there are still tons of closeted gay men married to women)
6 Loss of meaning with religion, with politics taking over the void, has led to an increase in nihilism/anti-natalism (also coupled with increased autism/increased materialism)
It's all an additive effect with many factors.
You don't have any clue because you're so young. Housing in LA, for example, is impossibly expensive (due in part to immigration).
Riots in LA were due to Rodney King (and media portrayal); same thing with George Floyd protests a FEW YEARS AGO.
LA is LOSING population yet it's "1000x better than the 1990s". What a dipshit
@Noahpinion@ChristianHeiens Nothing is wrong with Dominicans, but do YOU want to live in the Dominican Republic? If not, why not. I mean how do you not understand the effects of immigration on places and people.
Japan is a bit of a special case in that their debt is almost all held by their own populace.
Debt does crowd out growth, which is one of the reasons why Japan hasn't had much economic growth in 30-odd years.
Greece was bailed out by the EU (cough cough Germany), who would bail out the US?
