My decision to leave Mumbai and move to Bhopal is going to make you question your own lifestyle in the metro.

I spent most of my life in Mumbai, and after marriage, moving to Bhopal with my wife was a major decision. But here are the perks:

1. Rent- A fully furnished 2BHK with 2 ACs, fridge, sofa, and bed in a top society costs just ₹17,000.

2. No traffic- The whole city is max 17 minutes away. Grab an Uber/Rapido and you'll get a cab in under 2 minutes. You can skip buying a car entirely — insurance, parking, and E20 petrol are all headaches you don't need.

3. Cleaner air- Bhopal's parks have real, big trees, unlike Mumbai's smog-choked ones. AQI here stays well below 50, so yes, my lungs thank me every single day.

4. No adulteration (yet) - Pure makkhan for ₹60 per 100g. Try finding that in Mumbai.

5. Actual taste- Food here has real flavor, something Mumbai can't offer no matter what you pay. In Bhopal, a food joint succeeds on three things: tasty, affordable, and clean. In Mumbai, it's affordable, affordable, and affordable. Sorry Mumbai, but vada pav isn't food.

6. Friendlier people- I know my neighbor. How many Mumbaikars can say that? Here, people have time for each other - no rush, no unnecessary cortisol.

7. Cheaper, better help- My maid charges ₹4,500 for cooking and cleaning. In Mumbai, that's above ₹7,000, and she's always rushing with no real cooking skill. Mine here knows the difference between boiled, steamed, deep-fried, and shallow-fried. That's a blessing.

8. Premium gym, half the price- I got Bhopal's most premium gym for me and my wife for ₹27,000/year. The same quality in Mumbai would cost over ₹40,000 - and there, work and commute eat your whole day, so you're only hitting the gym on weekends, exhausted.

9. Cheaper movies- Under ₹300 at Bhopal's DB City mall(The Top Mall). Try matching that at R City or a Palladium in Mumbai.

10. Work-life balance – Offices here wrap up by 5:30 PM. Nobody's working till 8 or reaching home at 10 PM. Everyone's home by 6, max 6:30. Digest that, Mumbaikars. Bosses aren't unnecessarily rude. The main office in Delhi doesn't care how the Bhopal office performs; all they care about is numbers from metro cities.

11. No language pressure- Nobody forces you to speak the local language since it's Hindi anyway - cabbies and auto drivers are simply better behaved.

12. Bike taxis exist here- Rapido/Uber bikes, cheap and available in Bhopal, banned in Mumbai where they're needed most.

13. Houseparties- People in Bhopal don't wait for weekends to let loose. From hosting to guest-starring, some of my best house parties here have happened on a Wednesday night right after clocking out.

14. Trains- Want to go to Delhi? Take a train. Mumbai? Take a train. Banaras, Kolkata, Ranchi? Just take a train. Bhopal is right in the middle, making train travel convenient, frequent, and super affordable.

Better roads, better infrastructure, Blinkit, UrbanClap, cheaper salons, and affordable organic vegetables and fruits.

The only thing I miss is Marine Drive - but Bhopal is the City of Lakes, so yeah, I'm happy.

See here at 10:58 they receive pickup request and at 11:04 they send msg saying quality check failed. What a sham!! How can you behave in such a manner with your customers. Highly disappointed and pathetic service @thesouledstore @delhivery

@thesouledstore I requested return for one of the item in order 19137799. You assigned the return pickup to @delhivery which as usual canceled the pickup on basis of false claims that “quality check failed”. And they sent this msg with 5 mins of raising request. See screenshot

Fraud by Babyhug & @firstcryindia . Ordered two thermals (6-9M): 1 pink, 1 green. The green one is much smaller with a fake 6-9M sticker pasted over the real 3-6M label. Cheated on size. See attached video evidence. Should be reported to consumer forum.

I am again kindly requesting the state and central govt in Delhi to act on the pollution visibly taking into confidence all stakeholders, especially the public.

Because the issue is very real, people are suffering, and there's palpable resentment among the citizens even felt online that "govt is apathetic to their concerns."

It doesn't matter if the pollution is mainly because of farm burning and not because of local factors in Delhi. All factors need to be addressed. There must be visible meetings at high level and action on the ground.

As for protests, it is highly advisable not to manhandle them, or forcefully evict them, act against women and children. Let them protest peacefully even if we know some elements are inciting and hijacking a genuine public protest.

Do not make the mistake of farm reform laws again. The red-green cabal run deep state uses such issues, govt apathy, and high handedness of authorities to fish in troubled waters.

I said this on day 1 of farm protests and it took a year for GoI to change stance after allowing the issue to be blown out of proportion and used against India in so many ways by the DS.

They can easily hijack the genuine protests, the reds and the greens will infiltrate soon and make it into a class, caste, religious, and "praja oppression by raja" issue. This is how they work.

Their narrative warfare and inciting methods are also so good. Given some real issues public faces, most public, even if they are not in Delhi, will take their side against the govt. Their critical theory methods really work.

Some elements are clearly planning to instigate and hijack protests over real issues in India the public is facing to cause anarchy and destabilize India, attack our companies, and derail our economy.

@AmazonHelp my order with @help_delhivery tracking ID 13371938941992 is not getting delivered. Delivery agent called and asked me to collect it from delivery station which is 25 km from delivery address. I said it should be delivered at given location but he just denied it.

AWB 2827773595453 was picked up on 14 Oct & was supposed to be delivered on 18. Today it’s 21 & tracking still shows it will now reach on 25 Oct. It’s unacceptable and absurd. Where my package is right now? I want it today. It’s absolutely urgent!!
