Houthis moved in almost immediately. The withdrawal wasn't isolated. Government forces also pulled back from Hays and Al Khawkhah, allowing the Houthis to rapidly consolidate the western coastline.

Big escalation overnight, Iranian missile strikes hit Muwaffaq Salti Air Base in Jordan, damaging several U.S. aircraft.

Reports say one A-10 Warthog plane lost a wing, and about eight F-15 jets had minor damage but are already fixed and back in service. U.S. forces fired more than 30 Patriot missiles to stop the attack, and luckily, no U.S. troops were hurt. However, the back-and-forth attacks in the area are getting dangerously close to important military bases.

Directly attacking Yemen doesn't make sense. Sure, the Houthis can't hit the Pakistani homeland, but they don't need to. They can easily target Pakistani military personnel stationed at Saudi airbases under the Mecca pact.

Plus, Pakistan’s maritime trade is right in the line of fire. The moment the Houthis start targeting Pakistan-flagged merchant ships or cargo moving through the Red Sea, the economic pain would be immediate. Pakistan knows this, which is why they’ll stick to defense and stay out of an active ground or air war.

Huge shift in Yemen this morning, the Houthis just took control of the port city of Mocha after government troops pulled back.

This gives them direct access to the Red Sea coast right near the Bab el-Mandeb strait. If commercial shipping gets threatened there, global trade is going to feel it fast, not to mention the rising headache for Saudi Arabia. Definitely a situation to keep an eye on.

It can be noticed much tamasha got added to what should be silent work of the armed forces. In fact, politicians & war virgin Generals, always loved to use armed forces to exhibit their otherwise deficit patriotism, through acts of bravery of the armed forces juniors. Post Kargil, it reached unprecedented levels. Army PRO during Kargil war, became Chief, whereas none of those who fought on Kargil front line, did. We have Uttam Yudh Seva Medals for ADGPI. Weired times.. Some ex serviceman you tube channels thriving in this menace, which would have long term adverse repercussions, for they never critically examined the armed forces operations selectively glorified. E.g. In the podcast of Kargil warrior Brig (then Capt) Cariappa on monks & warriors there was a detailed talk about grenades not exploding. As an ex fauzi there should have been alarm. There was none..Some civilian channels are doing a better national sevice than these spokespersons of licking, spineless Generals. Vaad is one of them.

Simple question to Garg.

Which GDP number will global institutions and investors actually use for Bharat?

Will it be the 7.8% real GDP growth reported by the Government, or the 2.6% figure cited by former Finance Secretary Subhash Chandra Garg?

What number will be used by the IMF, World Bank, BIS, OECD, ADB, global rating agencies, foreign institutional investors, sovereign wealth funds, and global financial markets when assessing Bharat's growth?

The methodology matters more than the headline number.

Foreign investors don't decide whether to buy/sell Indian equities based only on one quarterly GDP number. Valuations, crude oil, rupee, US yields, global risk, earnings expectations, geopolitical risk and FII positioning all matter.

First #BPCL took 7 days to change name/Transfer connection. During process they did mistake in my mobile no. On 24 Aug did KYC, also identify wrong number & gave correct number. Till time it is not updated. I can not book cylinder with wrong no, pls help @BPCLimited @PetroleumMin
