@pHequals7@vinaykesari agree, and it's crucial to have viable alternatives to hyperscalers locally - versions of Hetzners/OVH. personally bullish on folks like E2E/Yotta/others, and i wish PhonePe opens up their DC to other developers (like Alibaba/Tencent did)
@pHequals7@vinaykesari not solvable via contracts - for say a public company like E2E Networks? i would imagine the bigger issue is local players don't have hyperscaler level distribution to incentivize Anthropic?
@vinaykesari@pHequals7 GCP has better uptimes, and that was the primary reason. also good to have better integration with local payment methods. Anthropic needs prepaid card payments that fail randomly
@vinaykesari@pHequals7 we’ve moved our spend on Claude to go via GCP India vs Anthropic direct. also makes me think having capable infra providers that become “licensed local resellers” for Anthropic is a legit middle ground to OP’s big question
@isawsukul Jawbone UP was too good - miss it every time I have to put my watch to charge. Do you a think a one-time payment model for the device is viable in this space?
an app that builds itself
vibe coding our company's intranet was fun until the bugs started rolling in, and I wondered if the app could just fix itself. turns out it can, and I couldn’t help but record a demo video despite bad hair sunday
Company intranet has now turned into my favorite slack app
1. At 7 pm it ran a daily code clean up of its own code
2. Then answered my questions for LLM costs - pulling data from our Posthog and analyzing it for me
3. Now it’s working on making this a daily update thing
