Continuous increase in import duties/import restrictions increasing prices of consumer goods

Historically it's been fine for Oil Marketing Companies to make marketing margins of Rs 2.5-3 per litre
This has shot up on average September crude prices and Petrol/Diesel cracks to
Rs 15/l for Petrol
Rs 12/l for Diesel

This is extreme profiteering. Prices need to be cut
