@Vanitas_42 @Light_88_ The thing is that old players are forced to buy those ports after bank is shutdown. All it does is directly harm them if they already own these games. It's better than nothing, but it's unfair to long-time players and demotivates them.

@Vanitas_42 @Light_88_ yeah I'm all for give new players a chance and making old games available to them easily. Just don't takeaway the fun for the old players. Also the FRLG ports are like 30 CAD each and I think that's pretty expensive, and if they charge that for GBA ROMs, imagine DS and 3DS.

@Vanitas_42 @Light_88_ I do think that their solution to this problem is probably bringing old games to the switch, I just think it's an uncool solution for long-time players who already own these games and are forced to buy them again to transfer pokemon from them.

@giveupindespair @panzer_panDer 他のことで忙しいと、そういったことをする時間がない人もいます。ポケモンをデジタル版でG3からG4に直接移してリボンをもらえるかどうかはわかりません。ちなみに、G1/2/5/6のポケモンをG7に転送するにはバンク/ムーバーも必要です

@panzer_panDer 両方の選択肢は共存すべきです。Switchのeショップでデジタル版をプレイすることもできますが、すでに持っているコピーでプレイしたい人もいて、何年も前の機能のために再購入したくない人もいます

@Vanitas_42 @Light_88_ not everyone has time to do all that when they are busy with other things and we don't know if we can transfer pokemon from like gen 3 to 4 and not directly to home so we can get ribbons. bank/transporter is also needed to transfer gen 1/2/5/6 pokemon to gen 7 by the way.

@ChoujinVirus @Edelethtildeath why can't both options coexist other than saving costs? People can play the digital versions of the game if they like when they hit the switch eshop, but some people prefer to play on the copies they already own and don't want to buy them again for a feature that exists years ago

I know it's unlikely to get Nintendo and TPC to listen and I understand that maybe it's better to resign yourself to not expect anything from them so you don't get disappointed later, but this is better than nothing.
