One female dog and her offspring can lead to nearly 67,000 dogs in just 6 years.
This is exactly why sterilization is not just important — it is necessary.
In the past few weeks alone, Animal Rescue Kashmir (ARK) has successfully sterilized more than 150 female dogs, preventing the birth of thousands of unwanted puppies who would otherwise face hunger, disease, abuse, accidents, and unimaginable suffering on the streets.
Sterilization is the only humane, scientific, and long-term solution to reduce animal suffering and human-animal conflict.
Not cruelty.
Not violence.
Not killing.
Every single surgery means fewer animals suffering in the future and a healthier, safer community for both humans and animals.

This brave girl was rescued us with a severe uterine prolapse. Despite every effort to reposition it, surgery became the only safe option. She was successfully spayed, treated, and today she’s back in her original location — healthy, safe, and wagging again. 🐾
