я Служу Советскому Союзу (I have a extremely warped sense of humor, but that’s not the translation of this phrase) must’ve been too many trips to the sandbox
@tweetingmatty@GWOTMF Funny we always wrote someone else name who loved that. Especially on the underside of the overpasses. QM rules! (We had forklifts)
@JordanLkarr Neighbor had a German exchange student last year. His parents flew over to pick him up. Dad came over to meet me, I spoke German which blew his mind then handed him a G3 rifle and he freaked out.
@hradzka Choppers dumped countermeasures all the time. If they didn’t it’s because the launcher was empty. Sorry about your mini fridge. Did it have real beer?
@CynicalPublius A gentleman made a comment about small and large dogs. Take it one step farther. When they finally decide to honor the names of the lost, they need to have a panel for the lost MWD K9’s also.
@augustagarei I’ve got a neighbor that I don’t get along with. He lives across the street next to a friend of mine. He mows about 25’ of friends yard. Friend put a post right next to the lot pin. He told the neighbor that I would be mowing for a couple weeks Problem solved😂
@GWOTMF If you had walked into 3-4 VA waiting rooms you might have gotten a good idea from the start. If you walked into with the current design you’d be laughed out of the room.
@SenJoniErnst@GWOTMF As a GWOT veteran. I don’t like it. I feel it doesn’t represent our service. Don’t build this. Or wait 60 years so we don’t have to look at it.
@samalosara@StarTribune Some of us have served and would never do it again. Imagine the joy of having a fellow council member come to your house and tell you “better get on board, we have the votes to do everything without you”
Got to meet the JCS on the way out on my 1st trip to the sandbox. He asked what FOB I was coming off of. I told him Taji sir. His reply “we bombed the shit out of Taji”😂 Twas a fun evening
@infantrydort Chinnooked out 20 minutes after a mortar barrage. 36 hours later drinking beer in Garmisch with my wife. Wild. Getting hugged by other Soldiers when we left because I was going back from RR and they were just off deployment on family leave.
