@sleepinglunads Keep in mind that this will take you much, much longer than a crochet sweater because knitting isn’t very tall. So you may want to go with a worsted weight that will allow you to use a decently large needle.

@sleepinglunads Knitting sweaters and things needs a good healthy percentage of natural fibers. Plant vs animal is your choice, but you need to be able to block it, and you can’t block plastic. Avoid alpaca, there’s way too much drape for a newbie.
