Military Council Conducts at Least 16 Airstrikes on Pauk Taw Township, Injuring 10 Civilians

In Rakhine State's Pauk Taw Township, the brutal military council carried out at least 16 airstrikes this morning, June 11, hitting three villages and one town ward, resulting in injuries to 10 civilians, according to a statement from the Arakan Army.

The military council used Chinese-made Y-12 reconnaissance aircraft and drones to bomb No. 1 Ward in Pauk Taw Town, Ma Nawsri Village, Thawin Chaung Village, and Lapang Pyar Village.

During the airstrikes by the brutal military council:

1) From No. 1 Ward in Pauk Taw Town, U Nyi Nyi Aung (37) and U Nay Win (38) were injured.

2) Near the monastery area in Thawin Chaung Village, Pauk Taw Township, Daw Hnin Che (38), Daw Aye Kyaw Sein (53), and U Aung Kyaw Soe (45) were injured.

3) From Lapang Pyar Village, Pauk Taw Township, Ma Che Yin Than (16), Daw Nu Aye (30), Daw Zani Mae (50), Daw U May Than (57), and U Hla Maung Than (28) sustained moderate to minor injuries, with U Nyi Nyi Aung from Pauk Taw Town, No. 1 Ward, suffering severe injuries.

"The fascist military council, which is suffering significant losses in the Arakan region, is increasingly targeting towns and villages controlled by the Arakan Army, as well as civilian areas in and around Maundaw, Ann, and Thandwe Townships, where current battles are intensifying. They are targeting towns, villages, hospitals, clinics, markets, schools, monasteries, and civilian movement areas with naval, artillery, and airstrikes," the Arakan Army stated.
