@James_M_Hewitt I get a lot of this sort of stuff both at work and on my LinkedIn, and not just one chaser but sometimes three or four over a few weeks. They’re basically fishing to see if a live person picks up the other end. Quick way to have your business blocked by me to be honest!

@battlegames I think it will always be a mix. It’s tempting to classify a hobby as being this/that, or moving in one direction. But there will always be people into the fluff and people not. As to whether it’s becoming more of one, I think social media distorts our perception too easily.
