@plasmatacos@DarkBloodKamuy Just because something is true doesn't mean it's the right time to say it. Nobody is mad that he won't grind sf6. It is just disappointing that while on stage at the most hyped FGC event of the year in front of a ton of FGC fans saying something like that kinda kills the vibe.
@KingTRex@DigitalGroundG@Forever_Evil_X@hasanthehun@TheOmniLiberal He does his research live on stream and has note documents available online. It's all public yet you will read this, ignore it or make a snarky comment and not admit that you are factually wrong. You are no better than Maga.
@superwrenching I agree but it's not because her ult is bad but because everyone's ult is insane in this game. Hers is relatively hard to use compared to others with similar ceilings
@junkerqueenssub@Serdizzle The choice is better because it saves the most lives. Since we know people will vote blue, it is correct to vote blue to save those people, and to save the others doing the same as you.
The "cutting arm off" example doesn't follow. How the question is presented is important.
@FimmyJargo@banana3080@DiegoZyth If I was certain red would win, I'd vote red myself. I get it.
I think the major thing that makes me sure in my vote for blue is that I don't want to live in the post-red victory world.
@junkerqueenssub@Serdizzle I am aware of the Gambler's fallacy. That logic holds if your goal is to survive. Picking red is the optimal choice for your survival. Picking blue is the optimal choice for the survival of society. Red is NOT "do nothing". Like I mentioned, people WILL pick blue. You know this.
@junkerqueenssub@Serdizzle I don't see your link, but the prompt is what implies that red has fault. If you are rational you understand that people WILL pick blue. Pressing red with that in mind makes you culpable, in my opinion. To be clear I do not think it makes you evil, just selfish.
@FimmyJargo@banana3080@DiegoZyth I could be wrong about this, but given the risk of red winning I think I'd be willing to risk it and make the blue vote. In my mind it's somewhere around 70/30 that blue wins, and I'm willing to take that risk given the stakes.
@FimmyJargo@banana3080@DiegoZyth If the threshold changes, my vote would, yes. I can't give an exact percentage, but yes, I would change my mind at 90% or even 75%.
I think Twitter is predisposed to red compared to the normal population.
@FimmyJargo@banana3080@DiegoZyth I understand choosing red if you truly believe blue will lose regardless of your vote. I think that is a choice made out of fear or selfishness, though.
Consider that even if 75% of people vote red, 1/4th of the world population is gone. Society collapses, famines, ect.
@FimmyJargo@banana3080@DiegoZyth Isn't that disproved by the fact that blue wins the polls on twitter? I don't think it's unreasonable to think red will win despite that, but I also think it's quite possible blue wins harder in real life. It's undeniable that it would be somewhat close. And...
@FimmyJargo@banana3080@DiegoZyth There's a reason this is a debate. Many people will choose blue, for any number of reasons. Religion, Ideology, some couldn't live with the guilt ect. So, knowing that, you should pick blue. 100% red is impossible. 51% blue is very possible.
@banana3080@FimmyJargo@DiegoZyth That is not the hypothetical as stated. The hypothetical states that everyone in the world is making the decision. The point of the hypothetical is that you have to consider what people will choose, not what the optimal choice is.
@junkerqueenssub@Serdizzle You are literally the one that is choosing the option that gambles lives away.
Fact: Many people will vote blue
Fact: Voting red will cause these people to die
Understanding this, if you care about the lives of these people you should vote blue. It is the only way to save them
@banana3080@FimmyJargo@DiegoZyth I don't know if we are talking about different hypotheticals but the one I read said that everyone in the world is pressing the button, which includes people who literally can't understand the prompt like babies/young children.
Like I said: Room full of logicians, I vote red.
@FimmyJargo@DiegoZyth If it was two people, sure! But it's the whole world. You know for a fact that tons of people will pick blue. Children, elderly, and people who are considerate of that fact.
If I was in a room with 5 logicians playing the game I'd choose red. That's not the prompt, though.
@DeadlockAir Nooo do not do this! Same thing riot did - Right is more clean but the sharpness of the left one feels much more iconic. I do not like it.
