Adapting the PLI scheme in accordance with collective agreements symbolizes collaboration necessary for growth in our sector! #5DayWeekandFairPLI#AIBOC@PMOIndia https://t.co/JdWgWVrZ0F
An agreement must be honoured. A reward system must be fair.
#5DayWeekandFairPLI
The 5 Day Work Week for bank employees was agreed in the Bipartite Settlement of March 2024. Its implementation cannot remain pending indefinitely.
At the same time, a unilateral and discriminatory PLI framework that divides the workforce must give way to a fair, transparent and inclusive system for all employees.
Every achievement of our banks is the outcome of collective effort.
Recognition too must reflect that collective contribution.
We seek no privilege, only implementation of an agreed commitment, equality in reward and dignity at work.
@PMOIndia
Employees in the financial sector should not be held to different standards, as they deserve a 5-day workweek just like others. #5DayWeekandFairPLI#AIBOC@PMOIndia
India’s Bank employees seek two things rooted in fairness and dignity at work.
#5DayWeekandFairPLI
The demand for a 5 Day Work Week in banks is not new. It already stands agreed upon in the Bipartite Settlement of March 2024. What remains is its long-pending implementation.
At the same time, the unilateral and discriminatory PLI system must be abolished and replaced with a fair, transparent and inclusive framework for all employees, recognising the collective effort behind every institution’s performance.
Hardworking bank employees are not asking for privilege. They are asking for implementation of an agreement and equality in reward.
A motivated banking workforce strengthens Indian banking and the nation.
@PMOIndia
Let\u2019s make banking more adaptable! A 5-day week allows customers to plan transactions better while managing their commitments. #5DayBankingNow https://t.co/gxOy6p0Gxv
Govt/DFS: enough of “under consideration”. Honour the 8-3-2024 Settlement on #5DayBanking. Bankers are battling understaffing, extreme pressure & mental stress, yet face discrimination vs RBI/LIC/GIC. We will mobilise until justice is delivered. #5DayBankingNow

AIBOC(WB) requests @MamataOfficial@Chandrimaaitc for kindly considering holiday on #Diwali falling on 21st Oct under N.I Act so as to enable all the citizenry of WB including Bank employees to celebrate the festival like other states. Hope considerate CM will consider it.

We demand the immediate reinstatement of the unlawfully dismissed officers of SCB.
Bankers across the country stand united against the inhuman, illegal, arbitrary, and vindictive terminations disguised as “redundancy.”
AIBOC( WB) writes to @MamataOfficial@Chandrimaaitc requesting reinstate holiday on #Janmashtami on Aug 16. When 21 States & UTs have declared holiday under NI Act,why lacs of Bankers in #WB would be denied of significant Hindu Festival.Hope considerate CM will consider it.
A total of 21 States and UTs including Puducherry have declared 16th August 2025 as a holiday under the N I Act.
We earnestly hope that the Hon’ble Chief Minister madam will graciously consider the same.

On available evidence, this is Veera Dhammavara, a monk. But can someone tell what was the need for then IB Director to say that he never saw any sadhu there and that many tricks are possible in photography?
