There are 3 kinds of contempts,civil,criminal & judicial. IHC cognizance of contempt on suo moto jurisdiction is erroneous, since only SC is competent under Art. 184(3) of the Constitution to do so. Hence IHC is not competent to take notice of IK’s so-called contempt.
