I have @SenJohnThune to thank for bringing me to testify on — well, the Subcommittee called it “Disrupting Dangerous Algorithms,” but I was asked to speak to the bad timeline we’ll find ourselves in if the federal government fails to ensure the Constitution doesn’t stop at the internet’s edge.
I gave them an earful, and while some Senators were taken aback or lost in the sauce, both @SenJohnThune and @SenRickScott listened closely and asked thoughtful, important questions.
Based on this experience, I would welcome the elevation of either man to Senate Republican Leader. And I strongly hope that, whoever takes this position, both Senators will lead decisively on securing the digital rights of all Americans which are already implicit in the First, Second, Fourth, and other Amendments — especially the right to freely mine, hold, and most importantly use #Bitcoin.
For those new to the issue, or wanting a fresh look, here’s the link to my testimony — published on chain, of course! https://t.co/iolxdGepLp

Bitcoin is an open system, and it’s still early. Christians can play an important role in growing and shaping Bitcoin, and it can help us preserve our way of life in an often-hostile world. Using Bitcoin for charitable donations is an easy way for Christians to start.
