@RobertaHenhoef2@carolineccurtis How? Stripping themselves? Do you know that in Olympics, every athlete should pee in front of one official staff to make sure their test samples are legit? They were smeared with lies. It was IBA should explain what ridiculous test they ran.
@white_lenka@souichi_lai@szeremeta03 They passed hundreds of tests since they started boxing, and failed only that one test which IBA claimed they did. Also, IBA couldn't even explain what kind of gender test they did.
Don't fall for their lies.
@UNIVER5E_GO We recognize Lin Yu-Ting is a woman because we know her since she was born. She was born a female and raised and trained as one.
What IOC said was that they wouldn't judge athletes' genders based on chromosome test because it's unreliable.
Stop spreading misinformation.
We strongly condemn @RussiaUN’s @Dpol_un for the accusations against Olympic athletes, citing false claims from the discredited IBA. #Taiwan🇹🇼 female boxer Lin Yu-Ting’s IOC-confirmed eligibility for #Paris2024 is indisputable. #UN Security Council should have no place for lies!
@JemmaPilates Again, you fell for IBA's lies. IBA can't even clarify what KIND of test they ran. Our athlete asked to look at the report, but was refused.
Lin was born a female and raised and trained as one. That's the truth. Stop spreading lies and hate.
Both Lin Y-Ting and Iman Khelif started boxing in teenage years. Since then, they have been tested hundreds of times before each competition. They were never accused of anything until in 2023 they became so good that they could beat IBA-backed boxers.
Lin Yu-Ting was born a woman. She has been female since birth. She is participating in the boxing tournament at the Olympic Games Paris 2024 with her strength and has complied with all applicable medical regulations set by the Paris 2024 Boxing Unit, which have been consistently applied throughout all qualification events.
Lin Yu-Ting is a victim of the sudden and arbitrary decision by the IBA. Up to now, the IBA has not provided any evidence. The IBA should establish a legitimate and clear gender testing procedure, instead of repeatedly and baselessly claiming that “Taiwan is a part of China.”
This cannot erase the fact that Lin Yu-Ting represents Taiwan as a female athlete.
We reiterate that everyone has the right to participate in sports without discrimination. Moreover, anyone who supports the rights of female athletes should stand against this bullying behavior.
The attack on Lin Yu-Ting is a form of international bullying. But she never gives up, and she has reached the final despite the eligibility dispute.
“The more we’re bullied, the stronger we become.”
We, the Taiwanese people, will always stand with her and be her strongest support. 💪
@JemmaPilates IBA may have done a test of some sort, but they never explain what exactly, only that it's not testosterone. Lin and her coach did try to appeal and ask to see the results, but IBA answered to neither. They didn't present it during the conference either.
@RunchieC Also, IBA may tell you that Lin and Khelif didn't appeal, meaning they accepted the result. But that's not true either. At least for Lin, she and her coach did appeal, but wasn't answered. IBA had nothing to prove their claim.
@RunchieC No. When IBA accused these two women, they said they made the decision based on a test in the previous year. (So why did they disclose it after so long?) When asked what's in the test, IBA couldn't or wouldn't explain the details.
@OliLondonTV Lin Yu-Ting was born a female, raised and trained as one.
They lost the match simply because they were not good enough, and they tried to make themselves feel better by using IBA's lies.
Spreading rumors doesn't make you a better boxer.
@fairplaywomen She is just a sore loser. Lin Yu-Ting is simply a better female boxer. They both took the test by IOC, so she definitely knew Lin is female.
She didn't do this out of protest. She did this to say "if you lose, just accuse your opponent is a man."
@libsoftiktok@Olympics@iocmedia Both Lin Yu-ting and Imane Khelif are female.
Save yourself from IBA's lies. If you question IOC's tests for Lin and Khelif, what do you say about all the other athletes taking the same test?
@Artofhunger75 I'm sure you are so much superior than all the 5 professional referees present. Don't pretend you are not talking about gender. You are just another pathetic guy fell for IBA's lies.
@kurtkatun0103@dabowagaga Shame on you to fall for IBA's lies. Lin was born a female and raised and trained as one. She didn't always win. Are you going to accuse those boxers who defeated her are men?
Don't be a sore loser and show some sportsmanship.
