@hibakod Nah, I've only got one and I'm quite fond of it. It has been quite the trooper and plays my games fine. Even helps render things for me pretty well. Not the fastest, but still pretty good.
@ShitpostRock They are all fully functioning managed democracies, though for how long is a mystery. They vote, but the outcomes are already determined and limited.
@NostalgiaFolder A point and click educational game called "Cyber Grannies."
Searching for just the title does not find the game. Found that out the hard way.
Absolute fever dream of a game, think my mom found it at a thift store. No clue who made it or where you could find anything about it.
This is not Minecraft. This is VRChat. And no it's not "another minecraft vrchat world" this is actually 100% accurate.
10 chunks of render distance. A stable 280 FPS in my tests. Just 32 draw calls. And no, it’s not “vibecoded.”
I ported Minecraft 26.3’s terrain noise generator to run entirely in a GPU shader. Each player generates the chunks locally, while Udon handles collision, block placement logic, and tracking which blocks players place or remove.
Will I ever make a full Minecraft port for VRChat? Maybe, if I find the time!
I’ve been a Minecraft Java modder for 7 years, with over 25 million downloads on my CurseForge profile. Porting Minecraft to C# has always been a dream of mine, and this is a first step toward it.
Udon makes that difficult in quite a few places. Terrain features like tree trunks, villages, and other structures are still a challenge, and I haven’t found a way to generate all of them entirely in a GPU shader yet.
But Minecraft terrain running through a shader inside VRChat? That’s already a pretty good start.

@AntonHand I don't know why they would be angry. It's six months. That's really reasonable, and it's not like they have the game preordered and are getting slapped with a delay. I'm just happy to get more PCVR games, it's nice to have something to look forward to right now.
Happy to report my witch cauldron has been nominated for the best props/effects for jinxxy's halloween event.
You can help it win by going to jinxxy's main page under the event banner at the top to find the voting section!

@DoDeportations Foreign companies own the British rail lines. They pay more than anyone else in Europe, get less maintenance and poorer service than any of the continental lines. They get used to subsidize the lines of the home country for that company. Same thing will happen here.
