Northeastern Women's Hockey enters the 2026-27 season with a new group of players looking to fill the holes left by a strong graduating class
@armaanv_6 breaks down the incoming class and what each newcomer brings to the roster:

Northeastern forward Stryker Zablocki has been named to the All-USCHO Rookie team. The honors continue to stack up for the freshman, who was also named Hockey East Player of the Year and co-Rookie of the Year after finishing the season with 20 goals and 25 assists.
Northeastern adds a second transfer from Minnesota-Duluth. Junior forward Grace Sadura joins the Huskies after appearing in 115 games over three seasons with the Bulldogs, including 8 goals and 6 assists in 38 games this past season, where she served as assistant captain.
Northeastern gets its first transfer portal addition. Sophomore defender Kamdyn Davis is heading to Boston after two seasons at Minnesota-Duluth, where she appeared in 74 games with 2 goals and 3 assists. Davis brings defensive experience against top WCHA competition.
@daisysroberts@wrbbsports As I said on the broadcast Friday, you represent the best of WRBB. It’s been a crazy two years, especially these last few months. You leave big shoes to fill covering women’s hockey, and I wouldn’t be stepping into it without your guidance and belief in me.
“WE’LL SEE YOU IN HAPPY VALLEY, FOLKS!”
An absolutely electric win from No. 5 @GoNUwhockey over No. 4 Minnesota to advance to their fourth-ever Frozen Four. Hear my call with @armaanv_6 for WRBB Sports as it happened in front of our eyes!
Ahead of today's NCAA Quarterfinal between @GoNUwhockey and @GopherWHockey, hear the pregame thoughts of our crew of @daisysroberts and @armaanv_6!
Broadcast goes live at 3 p.m. ET, tune in on WRBB 104.9 FM!
Completely embarrassing on the part of @GoNUathletics@hockey_east that Northeastern had to play this game on the road. There was no better option than to give the lower seed hosting rights? Probably cost @GoNUwhockey a tournament crown. Incredibly disappointing.
It baffles me that Northeastern’s reward as the 1 seed in HEA is to play the conference championship at the home venue of the team that trailed them by 12 points.
No matter, though. NU beat UConn in Storrs three times this season. They’ve owned Toscano. Just gotta get one more.
Another game, another couple of @GoNUwhockey goal calls for @wrbbsports!
There's something about an Ella Lloyd goal against a ranked opponent... had a nice call on Morgan Jackson's power play goal too (with some great color commentary by @armaanv_6 on Stryker Zablocki)!
Northeastern Women’s Head Coach Dave Flint on the upcoming UConn series following the win over BC:
“UConn has amazing goaltending and they're very good defensively. I think if we can play like we did tonight and get as close to as many shots we will be really successful”
Northeastern women’s head coach Dave Flint on the 3-2 Beanpot Consolation win over BC:
“I thought we played a great game, probably the best game we've played in a while. I loved how the team grinded it out and found a way and, got an important win for us.”
Northeastern Head Coach Dave Flint on the forward line changes:
“We just wanted to change things up, try to get things going a little bit. Holly Abela has been playing really well, and so we wanted to give her an opportunity on the 2nd line, and I thought she did a great job.”
Northeastern Head Coach Dave Flint on the 2-1 Win over UNH:
“I thought it was a good win, good character building win, a lot of adversity we’ve had to deal with. We haven't been getting much help with officiating lately, but we battled through it and found a way to win”
Northeastern Head Coach Jerry Keefe on Amine Hajibi and Matthew Perkins together on the 3rd-line:
“They both skate well, and that's one thing I like with [Perkins]. [Perkins] checks well, but he skates extremely well, and [Hajibi] can play the game really fast.”
Northeastern Head Coach Jerry Keefe on the 4-0 Win over UNH:
“It was a solid team win that our group really needed, badly. I liked how we played the game tonight and, I thought we played the game the right way and got rewarded for it.”
Northeastern's three-year Beanpot run was cut short Tuesday night in a tough contest against the underdog Terriers. @armaanv_6 takes you through all of the action: https://t.co/74FhOwcGwO
@GoNUmhockey was moments away from giving Matthews Arena a proper sendoff.
But, with two minutes to play, BU scored two goals in 20 seconds, dashing the collective hopes of a sold-out building. @armaanv_6 has the story from an emotional day: https://t.co/9fV4Ng7PA9
