I was only a young child then. I didn’t understand why my father had disappeared, and I had no idea that I would grow up waiting for him to return.

The years passed, and I grew older… while this photo remained a witness to one of the most painful memories of my childhood.

To me, this is not just an old photograph. It is part of my family’s story, and a memory that 23 years have not been able to erase.
