Pregnancy and childbirth are life-changing moments. No one should be forced to navigate them alone. 

The Citywide Doula Initiative has connected thousands of New Yorkers with free doula support, addressing longstanding inequities in maternal care for Black and Latino families.

We’re going a step further by adding doula coverage to eligible health plans so that more New Yorkers have the care they need before, during, and after childbirth.
