Peter Obi said he and his wife are good parents to Soludo’s children.

This is what happens when you are quick to criticise instead of listening to understand.

You are wrong on 2 sides due to your lack of understanding.

1. The man said “even if”, that means ‘assuming without conceding’. He unequivocally stated that he never walked up to any bank seeking to take a loan. Whatever loan that was recorded in the name of Anambra state was taking by the Federal government for special intervention initiatives. But that assuming without conceding that he indeed took any loan, as long he did not initiate any draw down within the time of his administration, it cannot be counted as debt to the state under his watch. If you understood this basics here, I am sure you would have held your peace against making the comment.

2. You are wrong by asserting that Peter Obi’s statement was factually false. On the contrary, Peter Obi was right indeed.

Let me explain with an example.

I approached a bank for a credit card. The bank approved my request and issued me a credit card with 16 million naira credit limit which I can increase if I wanted. At the of the month, my total draw down was 1 million naira (that means I spent 1million out of my credit limited of 16 million). Now, what do I owe the bank? The answer is simple - 1million naira. If at the end of the month, I did not spend 1 naira from the available 16 million naira credit limit, I owe the bank nothing and the bank or any body cannot wake up tomorrow to say I owe them money. That’s what PO explained in that short clip.
