Lindsay Clancy owned a book called “Good Moms Have Scary Thoughts.”
The author attempts to normalize these thoughts by saying 90% of new mothers will have scary, intrusive thoughts about their baby and themselves.
I’m sorry but you can never convince me that is true.
I feel like so much damage is being done by this normalizing of abnormal things. They do the same thing with “sex work”. They try to destigmatize it and make women feel empowered to do it. In doing so it actually puts women at risk because it is dangerous and shouldn’t be normalized!!
Good moms don’t have scary thoughts. Moms suffering from a serious mental health issue do and they need to get help immediately! Does it mean they are a bad mom? No, that’s not what I’m saying at all! But they DO need help if they are having scary or intrusive thoughts. They shouldn’t be reading a book normalizing it.
@WeGotsTheMeats 90 also. Unofficial 'stoner' area. Dozens lighting up between every class. It's crazy to think of how different things are today (I work on a high school campus).
This is the stuff revolutions are made from. I hope that men in Spain remember who they are and what their ancestors did to win Spain back. It’s time for them to do it again to save Spain.
Stephen A. Smith publicly APOLOGIZES to Kyrie Irving after calling him "selfish" for refusing the COVID jab.
"Hindsight-wise, it didn’t make him stubborn or selfish. It made him BRAVE."
"I watched Dr. Fauci on Capitol Hill yesterday, and the person I thought about most was Kyrie Irving."
“Kyrie Irving stood out in my mind because of the heat that he was taking... He refused the vaccine. New York City's mandate made him ineligible for home games, and he linked his stance to people losing jobs over vaccine mandates."
“In my opinion, particularly hindsight-wise, it didn't make him stubborn or selfish. It made him brave. His willingness to stand up and say, ‘Nah, I'm not doing that.’
“It's just a time for reflection — to look at things differently.”
Kyrie gave up $11,400,000 in game checks during the 21-22 NBA season and a $100,000,000 extension with the Nets to be unvaccinated.
That cements his holdout as the largest financial sacrifice any athlete has ever made over an issue in history.
Let's be serious. Which of the following signs actually prevent more mass shootings? As a teacher with decades of experience with guns(and keep myself armed almost everywhere), it is a shame that I am the most vulnerable when I am at school- where being armed could save lives or better yet, probably prevent a mass shooting event.
