On September 26, Artashes Toumanian, Ambassador of the R. of Armenia to the I.R. of Iran received Mr. Mehdi Azavari, managing director of “Zarin Behshahr” industrial development and export company.

On the occasion of the 30th anniversary of the Independence Day of the Republic of Armenia, the Chairman of Iran-Armenia commercial chamber along with the members of the chamber board visited The Armenian Embassy.

On September 19, a church worship service was held in St. Sarkiss Armenian Cathedral in Tehran. The rite comprising Prayer for the Republic, blessing of the Armenian flag and Liturgy marked the Independence day of Armenia.

On September 16, Artashes Toumanian, Ambassador of the Republic of Armenia to the Islamic Republic of Iran visited the “21st International exhibition of building and construction industry” in the venue of Tehran international exhibitions center.

On August 23, Artashes Toumanian, Ambassador of the R. of Armenia to the I.R. of Iran hosted Yun Kanghyeon, Ambassador of the Republic of Korea to the I.R. of Iran.

On August 10, a delegation of Iranian business and trade people from #NorthKhorasan Province traveled Armenia in order to get familiar with investments and business circumstances of the country.

Mr. Toumanian received M. Hosseyni, CEO of “Mehraz” co. who had briefing on the activities of the company in the fields of plantation, cultivating agricultural products and manufacturing equipment in the related sphere and the plan for launching economic activities in Armenia.

Ambassador Toumanian received Managing Director of “Ghoshouni Industrial Co.”. Ambassador was briefed on activities of the Company in metallurgy, metal casting and manufacturing the relevant equipment, he expressed his intention to have investments in Armenia in this regard.

هیئت معاون وزیر اقتصاد ارمنستان ��نابه دعوت شرکت سرمایه گذاری تامین اجتماعی ایران از تاریخ ۲۷ لغایت ۲۹ جولای در تهران حضور داشت. اجرای برنامه های سرمایه گذاری در زمینه تولید دارو در ارمنستان را مورد بررسی قرار داده و در نتیجه صورت جلسه ای نیز تنظیم و به امضاء طرفین رسید.

خطیب زاده با تصریح بر لزوم عبور دو کشور از تنش ها و درگیری‌ها و ضرورت احترام همه طرف ها به مرزهای شناخته شده بین المللی، بر ضرورت دستیابی هر چه سریع تر به صلح پایدار در منطقه تاکید و آمادگی جمهوری اسلامی ایران برای هر گونه مساعدت جهت برقراری صلح پایدار در منطقه را اعلام کرد.

A book ("Armenian churches in Iran") debut event was held in Etchmiadzin. The author is Mrs. Sherli Avedian, Director of the “Base of World Heritage Site of Iranian Historical Churches”, member of Research on Armenian Architecture (RAA) NGO and ICOMOS.

Ambassador Toumanian had a one-day trip to Zanjan. In the meeting with the Governor of the Province, issues such as expanding the volume of trade exchange, plans for mutual investments, cooperation between universities and innovative technologies exchanges were pointed out.

In MOU, #EnterpriseArmenia and Iran Small Industries and Industrial Parks Organization outlined their intentions to provide mutual assistance in promoting the investment climate in the two countries, to provide mutual support to the two countries' business circles.

On July 11, Artashes Toumanian, Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Republic of Armenia to the Islamic Republic of Iran for a one-day trip arrived at Arak, Markazi Province.

During the meeting with the Managing Director of “#Farabi Cinema Foundation” Ambassador Toumanian had remarks on cultural strong ties between two countries and stressed the importance of collaboration in cinematography and film industry.

On June 30,the Ambassador of Armenia to Iran had meeting with the Deputy Minister of Energy of Iran. The issues concerning the construction of the Armenia-Iran 3rd power transmission line project and arrangement for supplying power for both sides were discussed.
