My theory is it is based on Alhambra in Spain. The fortress was first built by Muhammad I Ibn al-Ahmar which is where I think the name Ahmarra comes from. And while it is not directly on the coast, it is fairly close to the Mediterranean sea which can explain the Sea Village.
