It's that time again: #AllDayDevOps for #2021ADDO is one month away! I'm giving a talk on "5 Signs you've DevOps'd your microservices wrong." Register for free and join us @AllDayDevOps@Coveros https://t.co/hvmiZxMwhO
@IkonPass For the first time in a dozen years, we choose ikon instead of epic. Arrived on a plane to steamboat just in time for the announcement that all resorts closed. The rental place refunded our non refundable money. Please Ikon refund for my ZERO days skiing this year.
Excited for tomorrow night's speakers! We have room in the room if you want to hear @jackpkoppa, @victori_ousg,@banjtheman Rachel Sweeney AND @pburkholder talk about Type-Script APIs, Security, Data Engineering, careers in DevOps, and Tech Patterns. https://t.co/MbcMyneGUd
Today kicks off day 2 of our #DevOps Week DC!

My "DevSecOps: Essential Tooling to Enable Continous Security" slides are up on slideshare (https://t.co/PRh0s6TFZG) as well as pinned in the "2019addo-devsecops" Slack channel for #AllDayDevOps. Thanks for all the nice feedback!
Excited for my talk tomorrow representing @Coveros at #AllDayDevOps! Still time to register for the free online conference and hear my talk on DevSecOps tooling for continuous security @ 1:00 PM EST (https://t.co/QvLsBPsVI1). Over 150 speakers throughout the day!
@rhondahurt@TechWell Those services tend to be fairly low-level and disconnected from application scrum teams. We use DevOps engineers assigned directly to the scrum teams (usually not 100%) who can work with the service teams to make sure they have requirements/changes soon enough to execute.
All ready for my #AgileDC talk: "Devops Patterns to Enable Success in Microservices." Stop by tiered classroom upstairs at 10 if you want to see me wave and prance around passionately about Agile and Devops.
Meeting some great people at @GlobalAppSecDC. Come find me if you want to be an app security consultant and understand secure coding, defensive design, and early lifecycle security testing. We have some great project opportunities coming up at @Coveros
@CoverosGene@GlobalAppSecDC Putting security in for the sake of security without considering risk and WHY you are doing something is a sure way to waste time doing the wrong thing. Important to connect controls to the things they are protecting against, then prioritizing those.
@CoverosGene@GlobalAppSecDC Security is often a constraint on your system. Thinking about global optimization of system helps you NOT put features in your system that will jeopardize other aspects.
From Neal's keynote at @GlobalAppSecDC : "size of font indicates how much time I'm going to spend on the topic" (from agenda). I don't know if he was kidding, but it's genius and I'm totally stealing that idea!
At Global AppSec DC 2019 @armillz will be presenting his successes and challenges with integrating security into #DevOps pipelines to provide continuous assessment of security posture. Learn more & register: https://t.co/eXqRztTf1h @owasp#GlobalAppSec
After Lynne Cazaly's keynote on "ish" and the problems of perfectionism, perhaps I'll talk about "DevOps-ish" patterns to enable "Microservice-ish" systems tomorrow. The presentation is definitely good enough, ish! https://t.co/LVb2TnOOYe #Agile2019@Coveros
