1st Para-Commando Battalion of PCB & 69th Infantry Brigade of 24ID responded to reports of a shooting in Bandarban. The active shooter was shot dead, and a hostage freed.

Bangladesh Army's ARTDOC today hosted a tryout at the Bangladesh Military Academy. Present were various officials, including the Chief of Naval Staff and the Prime Minister. This marks the first tryout of many more to come.

Yesterday evening, the Chief of Army Staff, General Farhan Ahmed announced his retirement from the Bangladesh Army. He was pleased with how far the Army has come over the year and wishes the next CoAS a good luck and hopes that the Army will march on to glory in the days to come.

The inauguration was followed by a Defense Officers' Meeting with the President.

Senior Officers of the Military and the Police were present. The future of the Armed Forces and Police were discussed along with improvements for the newly constructed Cantonment. (2/2)

After months of hard work put into it, the Bandarban Cantonment was finally inaugurated yesterday by the President in the presence of the Chief of Army Staff and Senior Army and Govt Officers. The President and the guests were pleased with the architecture and facilities. (1/2)

Today, the Honourable President Swapnil Chowdhury visited the newly constructed Bandarban Cantonment before its inauguration accompanied by the Prime Minister Arman A. Hassan and the Inspector General of Bangladesh Police Rafan A. Bashar. Tributes were paid to the Shikha Anirban.

Bangladesh Army, Bangladesh Air Force and Rapid Action Battalion today embarked on the largest counterinsurgency operation Bandarban has seen in the past few months. They valiantly fought against several insurgents, with BAF's Mil Mi-28 Havoc being deployed for close Air Support.

With the permission from the Prime Minister and with the orders of the General, REDSEPTICEY has been appointed to the rank of Lieutenant General of the Bangladesh Army and will hold the appointment of Chief of General Staff. The Army wishes him a good luck in his future career.

Combat vehicles and ranges make the training complete! Firing drills are needed to maintain accuracy in shooting. Battlefield tanks and guns are what the Army is about! The academy has all the Army vehicles used in battle and the usage of these are to be taught to recruits.

From ceremonial duties to operational training, it has the capacity for providing a world-class training to future soldiers.

Accommodations are an essential part of military training. These bunk beds are just enough to provide a comfortable sleep for the Recruits for them to start another day with full energy. These are also to be used for room inspections and other parts of training.
