My son is a liberal. I am not. My son and I have a very loving relationship. We respect each other. We joke around, even crack on each other. Neither of us allow politics to interfere with our relationship! You broke contact with your mom because it’s what you wanted to do. It caused her pain. If you can’t come to terms about that then leave her alone. You are the problem! Not your mom! Just know, your own children will likely do the same to you! Then who do you have? No one!all over politics!
