@WordPress Why not start with making Gutenberg optional so people who hate it can design actual themes again.
Just give people the choice to NOT use and rely on it.

That way the bungled mess of blocks people come up with but settle for boring because the editor don’t work goes mostly away.

This is just the last of 5-6 years of crap decisions starting with forcing Gutenberg into Core and alienating half the userbase.
