Added distant mountains and some (very unfinished) first drafts for puzzle buildings.
The weather and daytimes really change/set the mood sometimes 🥰
Optimized the games core logic beyond reason today, because: why not. (do it right once, and done.)
WIP 🏗️
@MyStartMail Far too many LibreOffice supporters would definitely miss workflow as the core component when it comes to efficiency. LibreOffice won't create lists for you if you type something like this:
* Bulleted list
1. Numbered list
You have to do it yourself.
@MyStartMail If you need the workflow to be as close as possible to Microsoft Office, OnlyOffice might be a good alternative. LibreOffice does not behave similarly to Microsoft Office right out of the box, including creating lists.
@PapaJohns I ordered the following for my pizza but got cheese only:
Large Garlic Epic Stuffed Crust Cheese Pizza
Sauce: Original Sauce
Toppings: Mushrooms, Black Olives, Onions, Green Peppers, Roma Tomatoes, Pepperoni
Touched some grass, made it more "wild" and added some flowers.
Also made a draft for "the cave" I mentioned yesterday.
Still need to take a look at the fern, would prefer larger variants for the forested areas.
Work in Progress
Cars used to leak oil. Now they leak data.
GM just paid the largest privacy fine in California history for selling drivers' names, location data, driving behavior & contact info without consent.
Money made? $20M
Fine paid? $12.75M
Surprise: the product is not the car.
“Hey babe, before we watch this movie, let me call the authorized DVD technician to unlock my DVD player.” ☎️💿
Yes, this was an actual solution suggested because breaking a region lock on a DVD player could violate Section 1201 of the DMCA.
The wildest part? The Copyright Office admitted multi-region DVD players probably break the law people wanted an exemption for, yet still used that as justification to deny the exemption.
Apparently, ownership is optional.
@SplashFan2000@cynical_disney I think it’s more baffling that they are putting modern day vehicles in FRONTIER land
Ya know, the place that’s supposed to represent the OLD west
Because the Magic Kingdom is supposed to be a place where you enter the world of YESTERDAY, tomorrow, and fantasy
I still find it astounding how Cars is the IP they chose to replace RoA.
Y'know. The movie that literally tells you to slow down and take the scenic route...
I have never known a company as out of touch with their own art as Disney are. It's incredible.
@Savethedmagic But now that future is gone. It's not just nostalgia, it's about celebrating what we can accomplish.
I have an article written about how I compare myself with Data in #StarTrekTNG.

@Savethedmagic hear Yanni at the bakery while getting chocolate ice cream, eat outside at the table near the fountain, travel between Fountain of Nation and the Imagination fountain, go eat chicken and mashed potatoes at the land, and celebrate while in Future World.
Does anyone think it’s fun to point this stuff out? It’s not. It’s frustrating, it’s exhausting, and honestly, it takes the joy out of something I want to love. I don't like having to do this.
But that’s exactly the point—people speaking up aren’t “haters,” they’re the ones who care enough to keep paying attention. I don’t want to see Disney fail. I want them to course correct, and the only way that happens is if people stop pretending everything is perfect.
Theme parks are one of the most incredible art forms ever created—art, storytelling, architecture, engineering, music, performance, design, and real estate—all working together. Letting that standard slip is not just disappointing, it’s also disrespectful to the Imagineers, artists, and leaders who built it into something great. They all deserve better than this - as fans we have to care about preserving the creations that they have worked so hard to give us.
And from a business standpoint, burning long-term goodwill with your most dedicated fans just to chase short-term profits is a terrible strategy. That reputation is already starting to shift—and not in a good way.
Caring enough to call this stuff out is not negativity, and the toxic positivity of the pixie dusters is the real negativity. They don't care enough about it to try to prevent the destruction of everything we love about it. Once it's gone, it's gone.
Worked a bit on the forest, but somehow I feel like "something is missing" - guess I will let it sit for a while.
To my surprise: forest looks like forest. 🙃
Mostly for players to travel through, but has a entrance that leads to a vantage point which overlooks a massive cave.
Did some more testing, performance is holding up perfectly 🥰
When Months of work pay off, and you slowly realize what kind of things you could do now in terms of world/level-design 🤯
Still fits into 4GB of VRAM btw 😊(at 1440p...)
