“I’m building my future, my way.”

18-year-old Immaculée was forced to leave her home in the DRC, like 7.2 million others, due to conflict. But she’s not letting tragedy define her. Through our Childhood Rescue programme, she’s training to be an auto mechanic - a skill that will help her create a better future.

This programme has already empowered 90 young people to learn trades like mechanics, sewing and hairdressing, giving them the tools to rebuild their lives and strengthen their communities.
