Las fotografías muestran los cuerpos desnutridos de tres soldados de infantería en el frente de Kupiansk, en el este de Ucrania. I. Petrovna, hija de uno de los soldados, difundió las imágenes a través de redes sociales para denunciar el abandono del ejército ucraniano.

Según los familiares, los soldados llevan nueve meses bloqueados en la trinchera, y casi veinte días sin apenas comida.
