@andreasklinger@Handre Why arbitrage? I'd argue that Swiss regions are good at specializing in high-value manufacturing + trust-based services / institutions. This makes Switzerland a brand and feeds into the rest of the economy. Intangibles like focus + trust are the differentiators.
@ediyork This is incorrect. There are various very liquid instruments to trade on FOMC decisions like fed funds & SOFR futures, or OIS. These are some of the most mature financial products out there...
@sri_batchu Everyone knows (or should know!) that sell-side analysis = marketing pieces. They have no skin in the game, don't invest, and their views are often quite different from the actual trading floor.
@gigiialc She's talking about NFP not actual payroll. Eg if a HF is long equities and afraid these will tank b/c of a low NFP nb they can bet on this as a hedge for their portfolio. But since there are many mature instruments to do this no HF would consider it unless it's wildly mispriced
@mansourtarek_ Many of these already form some of the most liquid markets in the world though like inflation/IR swaps or futures/fwds tied to geo risk (eg commodity or ccy). And where companies are actually exposed to specific real-world risk there is the whole field of parametric insurance.
@credistick@bgurley She's saying that if eg a HF is long equities and afraid these will tank b/c of a low NFP nb they can bet on this as a hedge for the underlying portfolio. But since there are many mature, liquid instruments to do this, no sane HF would consider it unless it's wildly mispriced
@jaychia_ Feels like a panic approach though that only works very short term? Agents are inevitable. And the barrier for companies to replace many of these vendors collapsed. Why would new customers sign with these vendors unwilling to easily integrate with agents?
@vanstriendaniel@dasanaike It's incorrect though, there are many mistakes on https://t.co/uxSWu136Mv. Many incorrect numbers, addresses, names etc. E.g. from the simple previous crop: "**A LA CARTE ROOMS.**
INVERNESS." instead of "LA SCALA TEA ROOMS. INVERGORDON". Totally different.
@vanstriendaniel Ow that's a big one. Results seem similar for the full image. "Miss" instead of "Mrs" though, so that's a small error. Quickly scrolling through the whole page it does seem to make a few mistakes on numbers (eg 2.30 instead of 2 o'clock). Pro should do even better though.
@maxbatt@MBromberg@ManuVision Ah ok got it. I understood it as: you can use world models to easily create assets as a dev + users could procedurally generate new worlds via prompting but the gaming co can make them persistent on the fly by converting to assets etc
@maxbatt@MBromberg@ManuVision It's a world model just like Genie but where outputs can also be exported as 3D assets, so as a dev you could create assets easily with simple prompting (text / visual) and then use those assets however you want in your pipeline. Isn't that what OP is talking about?
