honest thoughts about engineering
engineering at its core is a form of art its how we build the future just like the steam engine powered the industrial revolution and computers changed how we connect with the world today engineering is supposed to be that spark
it was created by crazy people who didnt care about money they just wanted to build something meaningful something that could establish foundation for future
but here in south asia especially places like nepal india started treating engineering like a money printing machine get a degree get a job fix some problem in a rough messy way and just move on
everyone is running after computer engineering not because they love it but because they think its the safest career option no passion no curiosity just pressure and herd mentality
other branches of engineering are mostly taken just to get into a good college then people grind dsa or full stack dev just to get placed the actual subjects are barely touched just studied a few days before exams enough to pass
the syllabus is outdated it doesnt teach what the real world is doing right now
people dont see programming as a way to solve real problems anymore we just invent fake problems to show off the solutions we learned solving for the sake of solving not to actually help
i really hope this changes i hope our juniors start caring about why theyre building something i hope they treat engineering as a way to create something meaningful something that matters something that feels like art
Got it into GSoC, in Machine Learning for Science (ML4Sci). Proposal was different from traditional orgs, some task were assigned related to the project and were needed to be completed for evaluation. Despite not being a conventional org, big thanks to @kirat_tw@100xDevs

Honestly, it’s just tiring to listen to Anurag Kashyap now. Just whining and complaining rather than being a part of the solution.
The new wave of directors of the 2000s shouldn’t become so senile to resort to being a sorry version of their former selves.
Be the change!
