I'm a Christian. I was born and raised in a Christian home, and I still attend church. I've grown up hearing sermons, teachings, and messages about God. So please, don't come to me preaching as though Christianity is something I've never heard of.

I know what Christianity teaches. I've heard the gospel countless times. I'm not saying this because I hate Christianity or have anything against God. I'm saying it because not every conversation needs to turn into a sermon.

Sometimes, I need something meaningful, something practical, something that actually addresses what I'm talking about. I don't need another lecture about God when that's not what I'm asking for.

Talk to me about the actual issue. Give me something to think about, not another sermon I've heard a thousand times.
