I don’t want to speak.
As the former President and Na iTaukei Naisogolaca, Ratu Epeli Nailatikau, journeyed silently through the streets of Suva, he passed the familiar landmarks of a life lived among the people.
The cortege moved past the offices Ratu Epeli once frequented, the cafeterias where he was a regular patron, and the storefronts he had walked past countless times.
This was a solemn, final journey for a true gentleman of the people.
He was a leader who shared a genuine connection with the city’s heartbeat from the shoe-shine boys and the early-morning shop workers to the veteran taxi drivers and the dawn joggers.
In this final procession, the city he moved through so freely in life stood still to honor his departure.

Earlier today, held productive discussions with Prime Minister Sitiveni Rabuka of Fiji. India’s ties with Fiji are time-tested and are growing significantly. Our talks focussed on how to add more vigour to our developmental partnership. We discussed ways to deepen ties in sectors such as healthcare, agriculture, defence, security and technology. Cultural linkages between India and Fiji are an important pillar of our relations and we will also work to deepen these ties.

🚨💣 Arsenal are now getting closer to signing Viktor Gyökeres after new round of talks in recent hours.
Gyökeres will NOT return for training at Sporting as he’s fully focused on leaving the club; Arsenal are now advancing.
Nothing done yet but discussions underway.
