@pumkinbaer Thing is, a fair amount (above % of pop) of this migration IS black; blacks moving to the South to be away from increasingly immigrant dominated Northern/Western cities.
With the exception of Florida and Texas (in the upper right) the relationship is quite strong. Domestic migration is just Americans moving away from immigrants.
Net Domestic Migration by State July 1, 2020 to July 1, 2021:
Florida +220,890
Texas +170,307
Arizona +93,026
California -367,299
New York -352,185
Illinois -122,460
@MorticianMor This is exactly why the trope is, "famous person runs a non-traditional campaign/on non-traditional politics." They have to be famous to start with or they can't get past the primary.
People online hugely overestimate how knowledgeable normies are about candidates. Some polls in 2000 showed almost 1/4 of voters thought GWB was GHWB running for a second term. Tulsi doesn't have a high recognition factor with normies, she has ~0 chance.
Tulsi is an extreme version of a common phenomenon, where someone appeals to very online people but has no appeal at all to actual voters, and the very online people delude themselves.
@MorticianMor The $100 is that almost every voter in America is in the NW, NE or SW quadrants, while every gatekeeper in our institutions is in the SE quadrant. If you don't have name recognition and you appeal to anyone in the N or W hemispheres, they will just starve you of oxygen.
@QuarantinedCoof For those concerned, the testing was done by people wearing masks and the kids mostly couldn't understand the verbal instructions for that reason.
@_Sowellsista_ Niemoller's poem ("first they came...") is a slippery slope argument. The reason people think of it now as an inherently conservative argument is the last few decades have had a secular trend in the same social direction.
@MatsVinnaren@jurijfedorov He deactivated again, he's done this before. He has said both that he's worried about being doxxed and that he is trying to create better documentation on his IQ research, which twitter interrupts.
