The Knight is THE FUCKING MIMIC.
...Okay, obviously not the Mimic from FNAF, but they're actually VERY VERY similar, and I'll explain why.

So what are the similarities I forgot to mention? The Knight only pretends to be Dess for Kris, manipulating them to achieve his goals. Literally like a MIMIC does. Plus they can also change their shape.
Moreover, the main antagonist of Deltarune is Gaster, and the Knight is only his pawn,which we'll just kill to get to Gaster as the main culprit. Every knight has a king.
