@Joe_brendan_ With the high rate of unemployment nahh. Itโs important but not the shortest cut having a strong skill is, a plumber, electrician would get out of poverty faster than most graduates especially if thereโs no connections and experience
I hate to break it to you, but if you want to be successful and you arenโt from a rich family, you have to sacrifice a lot.
You have to sacrifice your health, your mental health, your personal life, and your reputation.
For every rich family and every trust fund baby you see, there was someone in that family who sacrificed everything to build that wealth.
It takes a psychopathic and sociopathic level of dedication to make it out of this corrupt system.
I swear to God some of you donโt even know what a toxic workplace is or means๐
My first job at Ibadan, a supervisor once told me to stand up from my desk and face the tv as punishment.
I laughed and walked out of the building.
The other agents screamed out in excitement.
"The real estate industry is armed robbery. Leonardo Di Caprio owns an island in America that costs $1.7 million. There's a house in Osapa, it is $1.5 million; Osapa that has no drainage. It is armed robbery..."

Unpopular opinion: Buy a Nigerian house built in the 1990s and renovate it to match your style. Many homes from that era were built with larger rooms, better layouts, and stronger construction than a lot of the houses being built today. Sometimes an older home with good bones is a better investment than a brand-new build.
