@imPatrickT I've wanted one of these for years and never really hear anyone talk about them. Prohibitive pricetag probably has something to do with that.
Guess I'm off to eBay again to find one!
@FischerKing64@Aristos_Revenge I adored this film. Beautifully shot indeed, but make no mistake, this film was not naturally lit. The cinematographer and director were very precise with how they lit scenes, using many fixtures in various ways to constitute the look & feel of the film.

@imPatrickT I may be on the fence about whether or not I like the look, but one thing’s for sure - I’d much rather get different movies taking a different approach to the same character, than having every single movie look the same bland, unintentional way.
Yay for intentionality!
@Vimeo@WebsterMugavazi It’d be nice to at the very least be informed of these major decisions upfront, instead of learning about it through vague Twitter replies.
Vimeo really went downhill.
@TheWarKitchen A cup of rooibos tea to remind me of grandma's
Mint Lemonade to remind me of the holidays in France as a kid
The soda I'd drink during Sunday dinners to pretend I was drinking wine alongside the family.
I'm sure you have a few of your own :)
@Pilestedt@helldivers2 Orbital Flechette Launcher, firing 3 salvo’s of tracking light/medium armor penetrating flechettes to take out large numbers of chaff.
For reference, take a look at the machine gun on the ornithopter in Dune Part Two!
I have seen a ton of obviously used consumer electronics in Iraq. But my favorite electronics story is the day I realized I couldn't plug a card reader into myipad, and I needed to upload some audio. A lightning to SD card device does exist, so I goggled for apple retailers
@ryanbooth@imPatrickT @restlesspix @osmFCPX You’re telling me all the signposts turning on were done in post? 🫣
That thought hadn’t even occurred to me!
@ryanbooth At this stage, no. Not an artist. A craftsman, yes.
A carpenter and a sculptor might use the same tools, techniques and vision to realise their work. But only one is called an artist.
Where do I draw that line? Hard to say, but I don’t feel like I’ve earned that moniker yet.
