🇮🇱🇺🇸🇮🇷 Israel reportedly fed the CIA a fabricated Iranian plot to assassinate Trump.

The intelligence was designed to push the U.S. back toward conflict with Iran and damage Trump’s improving ties with Turkey.

The CIA assessed the claim with “low confidence.”

The warning was delivered during Trump’s July visit to Turkey and triggered a major Secret Service response that secretly flew him to Britain.

🚨🇷🇺🇯🇵 Japan is FURIOUS with Russia, after Putin just stepped foot in territory that they claim...

Putin just visited the disputed Kuril islands for the first time, a Russian-controlled Pacific island chain also claimed by Japan.

Japan asserts territorial rights to the four southernmost islands of the chain, which it calls the Northern Territories.

The USSR took them from Japan in the last days of WWII.

Moscow has stepped up its military presence in recent years on the islands, a clear indication of their stance.

Japan's Ministry of Foreign Affairs put out a statement calling the islands "an inherent part of the Japanese territory" and saying it "strongly protests" the visit.

Fmr. Russian President Dmitry Medvedev hit back, saying Japan's PM Takaichi "can prattle on all she likes about the islands being 'historically Japanese,' but this chatter won't change a thing.

They were, are, and will remain Russian land. Anyone who fails to understand this will face the monstrous consequences of their delusion."

🇸🇴🇪🇹 The Somali National Army’s 60th Division is now overseeing the Buurhakaba forward operating base in Somalia’s Bay region, after Ethiopian troops formally handed it over.

This ends about 12 years of continuous Ethiopian presence at the base, dating back to 2014.

Buurhakaba sits on a key logistics corridor and has been important in operations against Al-Shabaab.

Local reports warn the area is SURROUNDED by the Islamist terror group, with limited Somali forces on the ground.

More Ethiopian withdrawals from nearby bases are expected soon.
