Grateful to be part of the JACC:Case Reports team. The journal’s extraordinary growth reflects the vision and leadership of Dr. Gilbert Tang and the dedication of an outstanding editorial board, staff, and global community of authors. Case-based learning drives meaningful CV care
As 2025 comes to the end, let me extend my heartfelt congratulations and gratitude to the >5000 author groups who have submitted to #JACCCaseReports @J@JACCJournals ! This esteeemd group of authors, many of whom are early careers and trainees, represented >93 countries 🌎🌏🌍! We have reached new height with >1500 publications, more than 2X than 2024, making us the only JACC Journals other than #JACC to publish weekly!
To me, this is a testament of the amount of high quality case-based education materials out there! Everyone including both early and late career practitioners, learn and teach using cases. We learn the most by reviewing our prior mistakes, great saves and near missed diagnoses so we can better patient care. A recent author told me that he looks forward to reading our journal every week, because the work published is clinically impactful and relevant, and has helped practitioners advance❤️and cardiovascular care worldwide.
I want to personally thank the entire #JACCCaseReports editorial board and staff for achieving this milestone. Their 24/7 tireless hard work and dedication are the key and foundation to make this journal successful. I equate myself to a conductor of an orchestra, bringing the vision of the works that we perform and let the players execute their artistry and skills, bringing together a team of world class performers to make the work understood and appreciated by our audience worldwide.
As 2026 rolls along, we look forward to bringing the best of case-based learnings to you. We will collaborate more closely with @ACCinTouch #ACC councils and regional chapters, continue our high yield call for papers, and collaborate with other @JACCJournals on curating thematic issues.
Onward we go! 🫶🏼🙏🏼💪🏼
