But, what I don't get is why. In Second Temple Judaism, which Christianity is the continuation/fullfillment the Messiah, needed to be jewish, from David's lineage. So having earthly mother makes sense.

However, I don't see that neccessity in Islam. In fact, if that was not a requirement, then it woulf be reasonable that being made of clay, mud, dust whatever is even more miraculous.

So that's my issue. If Jesus is only a prophet, even if one of the greatest, why is he treated so specially that Allah wills him to existence.

My grandma used to tell a story from the time the soviet soldiers invaded Hungary during World War II. She said that they stole a bunch of stuff, basically everything that seemed valuable. They took their brass alarm clock as they thought it was gold. Then when it started ringing they threw it to the ground and shot it.

I'm not sure how true it is, I have no reason to doubt her. And after seeing this, I'm pretty sure it is true.

Tolkien literally Christianized nordic paganism. Sure, he took all the gods/pantheon of polytheistic religions, but he put it in the frame of Christianity. He made the gods of paganisms angels and fallen angels.

He made the pagan gods subordinate to Eru. Just as it is written multiple times in the Old Testament.
