By the numbers, we brought together an exclusive audience of 250 innovation leaders from across the country, featuring 21 speakers and 45 exhibiting companies including tech giants—most of the magnificent seven—to brand new startups and everything in between. We came together with purpose: to imagine a smarter, cleaner, more resilient energy future and to build the collaboration necessary to make it happen. ⚡ Kentucky’s nuclear energy future is here.

The Kentucky Nuclear Energy Development Authority (KNEDA) has officially launched a Request for Proposals (RFP) for communities, companies, and organizations across the Commonwealth.

KNEDA—established by the 2024 Kentucky General Assembly and administered through the University of Kentucky Center for Applied Energy Research—seeks proposals that advance nuclear energy innovation while driving job creation, regional economic development, workforce training, public health and safety, and sustainability through nuclear energy innovation.

Scott and I rowed across il Lago di Braies in Dolomiti today, which in addition to being beautiful, was historically a Nazi camp for high profile German political prisoners at the end of the Second World War, including Colonel Stauffenberg who led the Operation Valkyrie assassination attempt on Hitler. The camp was liberated by the American Army in 1945. Today, the lake is over-visited by tourists like us so we arrived very early this morning to be first to rent a row boat to be able to take this shot.
