@JohnSimpsonNews Yes, it’s frightening some times. Even if it is a subject I don’t know much about it is not too difficult to find trusted sources while at the same time keeping an open mind. Always worth listening to your thought provoking reports, keep up the good work!
Robert Jenrick ordered murals in a centre for lone children to be painted over because they were "too welcoming".
Just in case anyone didn't realise what heartless, vindictive shits we are.
The irony - what humanity looks like 2023!
Rescue teams of a tourist submersible carrying 4 millionaire and 1 billionaire went missing during a dive to the wreck of the Titanic, and a rescue teams of a refugee boat carrying 800 poor people looking for a better life for their children.
The rich The poor
Suella Braverman keeps repeating that the Rwanda scheme etc is the “will of the British people”
If, like me, you’re British, & this is not your “will” let her know by retweeting this please.
We deserve to be heard

@PhillipsPOBrien Or if he had stopped at Donbas and Luhansk, rather than going for a full invasion then he would have left Ukraine in a permanent state of disruption and the west would unlikely have not responded so decisively.
@Parody_PM I used to think that cancel culture did not exist and it was just a term thought up by right wing politicians to label anyone who had a different point of view. Now I know that it is real, and it is perpetuated by the right wingers themselves and not the “woke” left!
@GaryLineker@a_webb @secrettory12 So true, this cruel policy needs to be called out for what it is. Would you want your friends and family to be treated like this?
@a_webb @secrettory12 There is no huge influx. We take far fewer refugees than other major European countries. This is just an immeasurably cruel policy directed at the most vulnerable people in language that is not dissimilar to that used by Germany in the 30s, and I’m out of order?
@ArmchairCopelrd Great analysis, thanks. One concern is what happens when Putin gets desperate, does he hit out or escalate in some way? Russian doctrine is to escalate, but what options does he have now?
@oldfather_john@nickspencer74@thinkdefence Agreed, but it was hard to articulate that benefit, ie, customs union meant lower overheads so cheaper goods, it was only when the extra costs of importing or exporting post brexit became clear that people saw that there had been a benefit.
@nickspencer74@thinkdefence I think many of the benefits were intangible and many people did not realise what they were. Also, the difficulties of leaving were glossed over with unrealistic promises given.
@MarkUrban01 Is there any common ground atm that could be the basis of a ceasefire? I can’t see Ukraine willing to accept pre February conflict lines given their current battlefield successes, even if Russia were to agree.
