AI-generated comics are no longer science fiction—they’re happening right now. Creators, publisher, and fans are pushing back.

As much as I despise trying to defend myself, I am not pro-ai-art. Anyone that thinks otherwise is wildly mistaken. I’ve spent the better part of the last 20 years promoting comic book creators for zero monetary gain and often at my own expense. I am a fan above everything else.
@mccreaman While I don’t completely disagree, I also don’t think that is the end of the conversation. Because it’s not going to disappear. And it is only going to be harder to tell the difference. AI will continue to evolve whether we like it or not.
@mccreaman Please stop being reductive. It’s a 2 minute video discussing the state of AI and the implications in comics to be followed by 3 more parts. You are reacting to the headline. I appreciate you taking the time to offer your feedback but my goal is not to align with your worldview
@Comixace As a longtime fan of your work, thank you for dealing with this crap and persevering. In my opinion you have always set the bar for comic industry journalism.
@DanielWhit64754 Not sure I understand your question. This is not a video for a Kickstarter, it is about how the landscape of Kickstarter might be changing.
The Battle for Kickstarter (Part 3/4) - When ‘Indie’ Isn’t Indie Anymore
Kickstarter was built for indie comics.
Now Marvel, DC, and Skybound are using it as a preorder machine.
