Got up at 3am for a sunrise hot air balloon flight and a visit to the valley of the kings before it hit the days max temp of 110°. Went inside 3 of the 62 tombs found so far. #hitairballoon #valleyofthekings #itstoohot

Flew to southern Egypt to visit some of the Upper Egypt temples. The temples were built to honor the gods of ancient Egypt and were full of hieroglyphics, statues, pillars and beautiful original colors. #philae #edfu #komombo #luxor #karnak

Day 2 part 2 Cairo Museum and treasures of King Tut. We got to see the contents of Tut's tomb but could not take pictures of the treasure, there was a guy in the room watching and if he saw you he would take your phone/camera and delete it. #cairo #mummy #kingtut #nophotosallowed
