@stevecook @POTUS He could only get that $500B by taxing wealth not annual earnings. If he taxed Elon 25% of his wealth, Elon would have to liquidate stock which would plummet stock price. Then what happens? American’s retirement accounts take a hit. Taxing wealth will hurt middle class.
