Let me just talk about this issue a bit. Read fully if you want to understand. Now this issue first found place in the media when two female monks of the Isha foundation were dragged in controversy by their family members (who were provoked by the missionary run local media whose full time duty is to malign Sadhguru’s image and many journalists are on a payroll because they defame Sadhguru) went to the ashram and gave an interview accusing Sadhguru that he has done a forced conversion and many more unnecessary allegations. Now only when the two female monks (the video is available for you to see on YouTube) gave the interview that it is by their own choice and willingness that they have chosen the path of Brahmacharya and they haven’t been forced into it, some people found the other side of the story. But by the time; the damage was done, and as there are people who are full time supporters and followers of Sadhguru’s teachings; there are people who are waiting to throw dirt on Sg’s image at a drop of a hat. Now this news keeps making headlines from time to time and the vile people on Twitter and on social media make use of this to defame him; no matter how much good work he does. I’ll be honest, I have been associated with Sadhguru for the last 12 years now; not once, I repeat not once has it happened that Sadhguru has asked someone to become a monk. It is out of people’s own willingness; when they see how powerfully these Isha Brahmacharis live their life everyday; people get motivated to follow the path. I have friends who chose this life because they found more value in the path of monk hood than being a part of the rat race everyday and getting into the grind, and it’s all their personal choice, even I had asked a question once to Sadhguru about Brahmacharya once in 2016 when he was in Delhi but I didn’t pursue the path. For me as a person, I will marry and live a life as an householder; while I keep up the intensity of my practices and yoga and following Sadhguru’s teachings. It’s Sadhguru’s wonderful approach towards life that I respect and appreciate; he never asks people to do this thing or that thing, he just tells you about what’s on the path and you can choose. One can marry, one can become a monk; or one can choose to not do both, Sadhguru isn’t forcing anyone. I respect the court and the judges, they can say whatever they deem necessary to be said, but I am speaking of my own experience; whatever is being said is not the truth. A lot of you soak in your own bile, Sadhguru doesn’t have a problem with it, nor do we as his followers, but to peddle the same agenda over and over again is a bit funny and shameful at the same time, maybe be a bit smart and try new things? Why do you keep reselling the same masala over and over again? 😂🙏🏼 Please follow the path of spirituality and grow from within, Sadhguru has been teaching a lot of wonderful things, ho beyond your prejudice and maybe learn a thing or two, the problem is you think you have time, but it will fly by real quick, wait and watch 😄 Namaskaram- Kush, Over and Out!
